Terms of Service

The service

Studios pay a listed slot price to put a game in a test bundle. Testers never pay to join or play. A tester earns the listed finish amount only by filing every survey in that bundle before the payout window ends. Leaving early, or finishing after the window, pays nothing. Surveys already filed still go to the studio. Each survey still open when the window ends receives an automatic 1.0 review from TestBundle saying the tester failed to submit during the period. That review is generated by the system, not by a studio. Filing the survey removes it, even after the window has closed.

TestBundle sets the slot price, tester target, bundle length, and platform cut. The current split is described on How it works. The price and payout shown on a bundle when you authorize a slot or join a seat are the amounts that apply to that bundle.

Accounts

You need an email address you control. We send a pin before the first login. You are responsible for the password and for activity on the account. Use one account, in your own name. You must be 18 or older. We can refuse, pause, or close an account that is inaccurate, shared, or used to abuse the marketplace.

Studios

You can open an account before you pay. Before you start a bundle or authorize a slot, you add a payment method we can charge. Authorizing a slot is permission to charge the listed price, plus any high-rated surcharge shown at that time, when the bundle unlocks. Unlock happens when the tester target is filled and the bundle has its minimum number of games. We do not add a separate card-processing fee on top of the listed price.

If a charge fails at unlock, we may pause the bundle and reverse charges that already succeeded for that unlock. You keep ownership of your game. You give testers in that bundle permission to play it for the test, through the link you provide. You are responsible for the play link, the build, and the survey. You must have the right to share that build. Survey answers are delivered as they are filed.

Testers

Joining a bundle is free. You play in the order the bundle assigns. The next game stays locked until you file the current survey. The finish payout is a fixed share based on the tester target, including seats that never finish. Unclaimed shares stay with TestBundle.

Earnings sit on the account until you cash out to a verified payout account. Connecting that account is optional at signup. Cash-out requires that you are at least 18. We can delay or refuse a cash-out that looks fraudulent, that belongs to a banned account, or that we cannot pay. Public ratings come from studios scoring the surveys you file.

Acceptable use

Do not file a survey for a game you did not play, open extra accounts to fill a bundle, scrape the site, attack it, share a login, send malware through a play link, or use the service to break the law. Do not put someone else's private information in a survey answer.

Pauses, bans, and the site itself

We can pause a bundle or ban an account. A ban ends open sessions. Charges and payouts that already posted stay on the ledger. We do not owe a payout for work that these terms say earns nothing.

The TestBundle name, site, and software stay ours. Your game stays yours. Survey text you submit can be stored and shown to the studio that asked the question and to people operating the marketplace.

Disclaimers and liability

Games come from studios. We do not promise that a build will run, that a bundle will unlock, or that you will earn a particular amount. Payouts depend on finishing under these terms and on a successful cash-out. The service is provided as available.

To the extent the law allows, TestBundle is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for a studio's game, a failed play link, or a payout a tester did not earn under these terms. Our total liability for a claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or, if you paid us nothing, to the unpaid earnings already shown on your account for finished bundles. Some places do not allow these limits. There, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using TestBundle and ask us to close the account. We can stop offering the service. Sections that should live on — payments already owed, bans, liability, and the permission you gave us to hold survey answers — keep applying.

Changes and disputes

We can update these terms by posting a new version here and changing the effective date. Continued use after that date means the new terms apply. A charge or payout already tied to a bundle keeps the price and payout shown when you authorized the slot or joined the seat.

Email support@testbundle.com first if something is wrong. Mandatory consumer rights where you live still apply. These terms do not yet name a home court. When TestBundle does, that jurisdiction will be added on this page.
